Apr 26, 2022 · We have an LG Smart Tv. We were told to download the Direct TV Stream app and all should be fine. I don not understand how to download an app on the LG TV. All apps seem to be preloaded and unable to download others. Direct TV Stream works when I have the book hooked up to the TV but didn't think I should have to have a box hooked up to a smart TV. Longtime user of Uverse and older non-smart tv. Ready to switch to Directv Streaming and upgrade to OLED 4K smart tv. I'm having trouble getting a straight answer whether the new smart tv will actually work with Directv Streaming app and Gemini Air device.
