Oh yeah, when azteca came out I struggled really hard to complete in on my character. Especially the quest to get avenging fossil. I almost gave up 💀 I really love the side quest with the tzolk'n stones and the history in that hidden library. Now that it's been nerfed, it's much faster at least.The reason I put the the Avenging Fossil at the top is that it offers a Deathblade at Baby, a Feint at Adult, and a 7-pip Avenging Fossil spell at Epic. The 7-pip Avenging Fossil spell has its uses as an alternative to Scarecrow, but many Death wizards I know have never once used the Age of Reckoning spell from their Ghultures.When it comes to the 7-pip Avenging Fossil, I could see that being useful all the way until Dragoon's Deadly Charm gives me a 4-pip Avenging Fossil. I, personally, love my Avenging Fossil spell. I feel so satisfied to have and because the challenge was so hard for some, to have overcome that challenge is like a milestone. I'm content will all the Azteca spells as they are. Personally I have a double resist, triple dmg for soloing and when questing with my life friend, I use my quint dmg. Triple Double Ghulture with mighty socketed is the best pet.
