It works. Using the rathian heavy bowgun and normal ammo level 1, I tested focus level 3 and no focus. With level 3, it took me roughly 13 seconds to fire off all 6 shots when charged. With no levels in focus it took me roughly 16 seconds. I did not use the switch skill that reduces charge time as I don't currently have it unlocked.Sticky/Cluster works fine, far from optimal but fun regardless., would not recommend using as much if playing solo. Can confirm that shockproof prevents you from constantly staggering your teammates. You can find a template build for it in the hbg meta builds in the megathread which is updated for TU5.
