Ford escape trunk won't open
Check fuse F65 in the passenger compartment under glove box. If that is ok you should see a small rectangular panel on the inside of the liftgate if you fold the back seats down. It is on the base of the door and in the middle. If you pry this open you should be able to locate the release handle/lever there to open the liftgate.To reset the power liftgate: 1. Disconnect the battery for 20 seconds then, reconnect the battery. 2. Manually close and fully latch the liftgate. 3. Go to passenger side fuse box Fuse 65 (Lift Gate Release) , pull it out for 20 seconds and put it back in. Make sure the fuse is not blown, if it is, buy a new fuse of the same current rating.
