Could someone give me a quick millimeter to stich per inch conversion for pricking irons / diamond stitching chisels? For a while now I have been using lacing chisels to make stitching holes. I gave up on the overstitch wheel pretty quick. I think its about time I pick up some proper stitching chisels though.I much prefer thinner thread to what most users recommend. Once I moved down a size I haven't gone back. 4mm irons I use 0.45mm (started with 0.6/0.65). 3mm irons I use 0.35mm (started with 0.45mm). Make sure you're using John James 004 needles (smallest size) and try some 0.45mm and 0.65mm to experiment. 2.
