Nzxt cam not detecting kraken
I bought a NZXT kraken x52 for my ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-I GAMING motherboard. I have installed the cooler and its required software "CAM". However, the cam is not detecting the kraken at all. Even the NZXT logo is not light up on the pump. I have tried every possible way. I dont see any kraken or any tab under Tuning tab or anywhere.But the CAM didn't recognize my Kraken. My Kraken is connected to an internal USB hub (freestanding motherboard usb hub) together with my Commander Pro from Corsair (which works flawless). I found a guide from NZXT with a dropbox download to some drivers, didn't work.

As far as I understand, the M22 doesn’t have any controls in CAM. You can control the RGB, but nothing regarding the pump or fan. It’s only the Kraken X series that has that functionality.Unless you have an NZXT fan hub, you won't be able to control the fan speeds through CAM. They will be done through your bios. If they are ramping up then it's likely that your motherboard is also detecting your cpu at a high temperature. Comparing temps between sitting at bios and under load isn't an equal comparison.Yesterday I built my latest PC, which includes both a H200i and Kraken X52. The building process was fine, everything working as expected, including the AIO. The only issue is that Windows is not recognizing my Kraken, or at least I think so, and CAM isn't either. The pump, fans, everything is working great, the cooling is fine for my i7 9700k.

Additionally, the temp on the screen seems very off from what CAM is telling me my CPU temp is (for example CAM says cpu is 45C while LCD says 30C). So far I have: Tried both the AIO Pump pin and Fan CPU fin on my NZXT B5 B770 motherboard.The cooling (both radiator and fans) are working and can be controlled via NZXT CAM. What's not working, is the display and system specs tab in CAM. A workaround is to simply turn off the PC, turn off the PSU I/O and disconnect the power cable. After waiting some time and starting the PC again, voila the display is showing info again.Everything is detected normally in CAM The problem I have though: Since I've installed the Kraken, the 3 x 120mm case fans can't be controlled in real-time. If I apply a different profile (Silent for example) , I have to close CAM and re-open it for the new profile to get applied to these pre-installed fans. The 140mm fan and the 3 Kraken fans ...
G. Check That All the Cables Are Properly Plugged In. Tug on the cables twice without pressing down on the plastic tongues. The cables should not come loose. Double check to make sure that all the cables are plugged into their correct ports and with the right orientation.
