I feel like those animations were the only viable aspect to short-blade use, and now, there's no point in using any weapon besides Long Blunt.

Spawning in west point typically puts you out near the school. A good game plan depends on you finding a safe home and and access to weapons to push your way into the city. I recommend any of the houses on the north side, next to the woods. You can forage for spears/food there to sustain you for a while.The Indie Stone you are a good developers team. The stone axe has about 1/10 of the durability then the regular axe. Look in hardware stores if you want axes. Or take the lucky perk and kill a hundred zombies. It really sucks when you can't find an axe because the stone axes break after felling just 2 trees.
