I really like the Wilson pistols especially the CQB but a $3000 price tag and/or a 9 month wait makes a Dan Wesson Valor at $1300 look like a bargain.So, for the price of a nicely equipped Standard Production 1911, Dan Wesson gives you an entry-level quality semi-custom 1911. Wilson Combat, on the other hand, is right at the top of the semi-custom world. But I do not believe there is any way to compare it to a Wilson Combat. More than 17 years ago I purchased a Wilson CQB, 45ACP, full size, twelve Wilson mags and a lined kidex Wilson holster. All for $1485. The wilson combat was pretty lackluster, it felt less good than my TRP. Machining wasn't what I would have expected for the price tag and the trigger was meh.
