Did a side by side at the last club match before the CA shutdown. is it enough to make a difference? depends how you shoot, and how heavy your gun is. - 6GT is really accurate. Right up there with Dasher and similar. - 6GT has pleasant recoil. A little more than 6BR, but way less than 6.5CM. - 6GT is theoretically long enough to cycle well in a standard 308-length magazine without modification, but don't count on it.

6gt will be about the only option for those. 6br has lapua factory, but it’s a bit on the slow side. Also, not loading your own is not gonna be conducive to small groups. Hence the EC tuner to tighten things up a bit. All in all, this makes the 6mm GT brass .150” longer than the Dasher, further improving feed reliability.
I currently don't have a 6mm but i do have a 6.5cm and 223 custom builds that are a joy to shoot. I've been to a couple of PRS matches but a majority of my shooting is just plinking steel to just over 1000 currently. The 6 Dasher and GT seem to be favorites. I handload all of my ammo so the availability of factory ammo is not a concern for me.Jun 9, 2019 · In most of the recent matches that are 600 and longer, the 6 Dasher and 6 BRA and a few 6x47's are whats winning. You can't count on the wind to be calm all the time. the extra 100fps and heavier bullets will come in handy. The 6br is an easy load and shoot round, dies and brass. Nov 9, 2020 · I sent my fired 6 dasher alpha brass to Warner Dies for an insert and he said the alpha brass neck thickness for it and the 6GT was so inconsistent, some of the worst he had seen. Do you guys think …Jun 18, 2020 · I tried everything under the sun with varget being so hard to find. 6.5 StaBall, h4895, h4350, and finally some varget. 6.5 StaBall was decently fast but not good ES, SD. H4895 was way slow and h4350 was ok (2850 before pressure). Varget is definitely the way to go. Much larger nodes and faster than everything else. ….
