It is stuck in 4WD and won't come out. It started out intermittent, where it would switch to 4WD for a few days then come out, but it now seems permanent.When this happened the ABS, 4x4, ESP, and "slip" lights all came on, accompanied by the typical warning beeps. The lights went off after several start/on/off cycles. Since that time the car has experienced some off the same bogging down sometimes accompanied by all the same warning lights and sometimes not. The car of course has 52k miles on it ...

Every time I go into 4-low the "Service 4wd system" light comes on. And I am not sure my lockers are working either. And my 2-wd 4-hi, 4-lo indicator light stops working after I go into 4-lo as well. The "swar bar disconnect not available" also comes on. Any idea what the issue(s) could be? Thanks,If the 4x4 light goes on and off with the switch but the rear wheels are always powered / turning with the driveshaft, the ECC may be stuck. You can try thumping on it with a rubber mallet. You can also try pulling fuse #2 and see if that changes anything. . .
