Every thing I can find says to use the middle mounting position and get the bushing set available from Shoup or Needham. To install the bushing kit means drilling out the mounting holes in the new boot (a high carbon/cast type of iron) to 5/8". Bought a used 1590 notill drill that has a half-speed attachment instead of the standard drive sprockets. This drill is 15 ft. and has 7 1/2 inch row spacings.
