Sep 22, 2023 · I was dilating about 1 cm a week so it was still about 2+ weeks from when I was 2cm dilated until labor started. that makes sense! I was 1 cm last week so that’s probably my case. I was those exact measurements like 2-3 weeks before my first baby arrived. I was 2cm dilated and 60% effaced at my 36 week appt. im 38 weeks & 1 day, and wondering if baby girl will come tonight!? shes been moving so much ever since my appointment (at 2pm) to the point where it actuall...I was 2 cm and 70-80% effaced for nearly 3 weeks before EDD with DS#1. I had to be induced at 10 days after the EDD. Preterm labor at 32 weeks, 80 percent effaced and 1 cm dilated. Put on bedrest and medication. Will be taken off bedrest at 35 weeks.
