Well, the whole Vendor, Manufacturer, Standards, and Government circle jerk thing, at the least, has screwed over us end-users. Press the lever on the right side of the Battery Backup Unit (BBU) door. The door swings open from right to left. Remove the screw that secures the access panel. Press down on the release tab on the back of the ONT, then pull down the battery cover. Release the tabs on the top and bottom of the unit.
