Pre nursing prerequisites
The prerequisite course work listed below prepares the student to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in the UIC College of Nursing. Completion of the pre-nursing curriculum does not guarantee admission to the College of Nursing. All prerequisite course work must be completed with a grade of C or higher. Course List. Code.Successful completion of all pre-nursing course requirements with at least a grade of “B” and a minimum of 3.1 cumulative GPA in all course work attempted. If the overall GPA is not a 3.1 or higher at the time of application–do not apply. The “B” or better in pre-nursing courses must be first attempts only.
