Did the first change on the new bike, indy did the 1000 mile. Oil did 4.25, transmission got 28oz per my indy. Primary was dumped and it didnt take a full quart, took 30 but the fluid seems high. When you simply drain the primary without removing the outer cover, 3-4 oz. of oil remains in the primary case. If you remove the outer cover for some reason, you might then use a full quart. I don't even look at the level in the primary. I just add the spec amount and close it back up.
